From Daniel K. Inouye Airport to Courtyard Marriott Waikiki Beach Hotel (with conference group rate)

Option 1: Renting a Car at the Airport ($50/day+ $450/week+); the car rental companies will be directly across Terminal 2. Please read this website for more detailed information about how to get to the car rental companies via airport shuttle.

Option 2: Public Transportation via Bus ($3-5/day)

Taking Bus 20 will take you straight to Courtyard Marriott. Input “Courtyard Marriott, Waikiki” as your destination from the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport to see other bus options during the time of your arrival. The bus routes will change depending on what time you arrive. 

Option 3: Uber 

Estimation will be around $20-40+ (price is dependent on the time of the day) 

According to Google Maps, it is roughly 8-10 miles from the airport to Courtyard Marriott Waikiki. 


Navigate to the University of Hawai’i at Manoa Campus

HICCS will be held in Sakamaki Hall at University of Hawaii, Manoa. 

The conference address is 2530 Dole Street, Honolulu, HI 96822.

Option 1: Driving

Please use the conference address for navigation. After you arriving on campus, please park your car at Zone 20 (Lower Campus Parking Structure) which has a flat rate for $5/day and is closer to Sakamaki Hall. If you park at Visitor Green Stalls in other parking zones on campus, the rate is $6/hour. Please see UH website for detailed parking information. 

Option 2: Public Transportation via Bus ($3-5/day)

Bus 13 goes straight from Courtyard Marriott Waikiki Beach Hotel to Sakamaki Hall, which comes every 15 minutes during the day. It takes about 20 minutes for the bus ride. Your final stop should be “Dole Street + East-West Road”. If you live in different hotels, please use the conference address in Google Maps to search for the most convenient bus route. 

Option 3: Uber

The distance between Courtyard Marriott Waikiki Beach and the University of Hawai’i at Manoa is approximately 3 miles ($10-20) and the car ride is about 12 minutes. Please use the conference address as your destination when making the Uber reservation.
