About me
Baoyan CHENG is a Professor of Comparative and International Education at the College of Education, University of Hawaii. Her recent research focuses on international student mobility with a special emphasis on Chinese students studying overseas. She has published various books, articles and book chapters on Chinese education, in particular cross-cultural issues in the global context. Her recent publications include the co-authored book The New journey to the West: Patterns of Chinese students' international mobility (Springer, 2020), and journal articles in the International Journal of Intercultural Relations, Frontiers of Education in China, British Journal of Guidance and Counseling, Cambridge Journal of Education, The Asia-Pacific Education Researcher, and Asia-Pacific Education Review.
